Loved this one, like all Michaela's hockey books! Felix was always intriguing in past books and I was eager to find out more about him. And Fisher is a great love interest and their story is engaging and romantic and just angsty enough. Can't wait for more! This is my first tale by this author, and it's not badly written but it is lite on the romance and heavy on sex, which I suppose would have to be the MO if you have a guy who doesn't want anything but no-strings hook-ups as lead.There is a tale here, and there is at least one nice character - Fisher (why have both leads with F first-names, as well as one of those with an F-nickname, French?? Makes for confusing reading at times) - but the other, Felix/French, came across as a bit of a drama queen, tbh. I got that an ex did him wrong, but for Fisher to then track down the ex, set him up for a fall and drop threats on him - all carried out in the space of a few hours, by flying to the ex's town, tracking him down, flirting with him, setting him up and then delivering threats (eye roll) - was nothing but silly filler. And, the issue with the married male parent who apparently propositioned (teacher) Fisher, threatened his job and reputation, with the school bowing to the parent's lies and sacking Fisher - felt even more filler'y.The author can write, but she only gave me 2 likable characters - Fisher and his best friend, whose tale will no doubt be next. I can't recall the friend's name, who, after the initial MMM scene, plays a small part in the tale, but he seemed a nicer character than Felix.
